Membership

Education is the distinct advantage in a modality that is so operator dependent. It is our mission to offer top quality diagnostic ultrasound education to sonographers in order to provide them with the opportunity to learn new techniques, and current knowledge to apply to their daily practice, empowering them to identify pathologies accurately and consistently at their earliest stage.

Our Memberships are designed to ensure that sonographers STAY CURRENT with the rapidly changing technology in diagnostic ultrasound. There are two types of memberships: Individual and Group.

Individual Membership is an option for individual sonographers who are interested in expanding their skills with up-to-date knowledge and techniques in diagnostic ultrasound. 

Individual Membership provides:

• Unlimited access to all our Ultrasound Seminars across Canada (space permitting), no registration fee required if resgistered before the deadlines;
• 25% off the registration fees for our ultrasound courses, workshops, and certification programs;
• A minimum of 12 CME credits will be offered to sonographers annually;

• Eligibility to apply to join our Elite Team of Sonographers to perform diagnostic ultrasound on fee-for-service basis with paid travel and accommodation across Canada (other conditions apply).

Group Membership is designed for hospitals or private clinics that have more than 10 sonographers on staff. We set up annual Ultrasound Seminars with 10 CME credits anywhere in Canada at your location. Educational events of this caliber not only inspire your ultrasound staff to enjoy their work, their confidence and proficiency will also increase.

Group Membership provides:

• Top quality ultrasound lectures by distinguished national and international speakers will be presented at your location;
• No need to book down patients as we set up the Conference at your location on a weekend or couple of evenings;
• Annual Ultrasound Conference with 10 CME credits at your location of choice
• Unlimited free seats for your staff;
• 25% off the regular registration fee for your staff who would like to participate in our other ultrasound courses, workshops, and certification programs across Canada;
• Attracting other sonographers across the country to your location;
• Opportunity for your ultrasound vendors or suppliers to sponsor a Group Membership on your behalf;
• Radiology/Ultrasound departments will save a significant amount of education fund per year which can be reinvested into training new sonographers or enrolling your current sonographers into advanced ultrasound training programs to provide a better service to patients. 

Resigned Members

• Members who wish not to pay the membership fees will be considered as "Resigned Members". If a Resigned Member decides to rejoin the membership in the future, there will be a penalty of $1000.00 (plus taxes) in addition to the new membership fees and other conditions that may apply at the time of submitting the Membership Form.
